Rajab al Asab

Allah Subhanahu states in Quraan, "From the day the universe was created the total months of a year, near Allah are 12, of which four are virtuous and their karamat near Allah is great."

Amongst these four months one is RAJAB UL ASAB, the month of prayers and IBADAT. It is the month, when the bounties of Allah shower upon his IBAAD. It is the month when additional Hasanaat (merits) are being written. The month when the wishes are fulfilled, and prayers are accepted

Rasulallah (S.A) says, Rajab is the month of Ali (S.A) and Shabaan is My month. The significance of this month was raised by the birth of Ali (S.A) in "Bait Allah", that is on 13th Rajab Ul Asab.

Rasulallah (S.A) says, A person who fasts Rajab for one year, the fire of Jahanum (Hell) is kept away from him for one year. A person, who fasts for two years of Rajab, the fire of hell is kept away from him for two years. A person, who fasts for seven years of Rajab, then the seven gates of hell would close upon him. And a person, who fasts for the eight years of Rajab, then the eight gates of Jannat (Heaven) would open for him. Ultimately a person who fasts for ten years of Rajab, then he would be asked to renew his deeds and that his previous sins is eradicated. And after that, the more he fasts the more he achieves the reward.

Syedna Taher Saifuddin (R.A), the Dai of Amirul Mumineen, Maula who passed away in the month of Rajab. Maula who had an outstanding virtue in the Ibadat of Allah. Maula, who got the sharaf of being in the khidmat of Imam Uz Zaman for the longest period of 53 years amongst the Doat Kiraam. That Moula states in one of his Risalat Sharifa. " I am grateful to Allah that due to the blessings of Imam Us Zaman (S.A) I was able to fast for the month of Rajab, continuously for ten years. Following my footsteps all the Mumineen, Mumenaat and their children in Bilaad Imaniyah fasted all these years during the month of Rajab with me, gathering the countless blessings and bounties of Imam Us Zaman (S.A)."

Al Dai Al Ajal, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS), the 52nd Dai, like his father Syedna Taher Saifuddin (R.A) also has an outstanding status in the Ibadat of Allah Subhanahu, and in calling Mumineen towards the Taat and Iqteda of Awliya Kiraam (A.S). Amongst his countless virtues, one is that Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) was crowned on the Arsh of Dawat in the month of Rajab.

In 1410 H. Maulana Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS), desired to complete the Ten years of fasting during the month of Rajab, and following his footsteps thousands of Mumineen started fasting with Maulana (TUS) in the year of "SANAT NAMET AS SABEGAH."

This Rajab of 1419 H. is the 10th year of Maulana’s fasting. And Maulana (TUS) greatiously with his kind benedictions granted us the Raza Mubarak to fast with him, no doubt that we mumineen following the footsteps of Aqa Maula (TUS), and fasting all these years with his Raza Mubarak have eradicated our previous sins and that the gates of Jannat are open for us.

May Allah enhance the Umar sharif of Aqa Maula (TUS) till the day of judgement. And may we Mumineen always remain in his cool confines, performing Ibadat and offering our souls and wealth in Maula’s khidmat.

Ameen.
